40s Velvet Turban Slouch Hat
This is a fun soft and comfortable velvet hat, with an art deco design. Not sure if it is a turban or a slouch hat...maybe both! I have had it in my collection for over 20 years. There is no label, and no flaws! Very clean inside and out. It makes me think of Aunt Mame, for some reason, ...maybe it is a bit ? Hard to say! It measures 7. 5 inches across, it is 6 inches high, without any "slouch", and it measures 21" around inside. The hat is lined in a purple-ish twill fabric, and there is a wide brown twill inner hat band around the inside edge.
