40s Rare Cheongsam Silk Dress From The Royal Hawaiian Hotel M-L by Pauline Lake
I found this amazing silk Cheongsam dress among some left-over Halloween costumes several years ago, that had been left outside in the rain!!!!! To my dismay, the rain caused some slight color bleed, but its hard to say if , in the larger scheme of things, if the yellow bleed at the neckline, is really distracting. I have worn this twice, and no one seemed to notice any problem. If anything, all I ever got was a lot of OOhs and AAhhhs! I hate to part with this, as it is so comfortable to wear, but I'd rather see this put to good use at a wedding or other wonderful occasion. (Since I first wrote this description, a small tear has developed in the seat area. I mended it with stitch witch and a pale blue piece of silk. An hip length shawl will easily distract anyone from the area, if you are just wearing this out for a dinner date....and I have cut the price dramatically)
