Another great autumn suit!! Amazing gold-rimmed covered buttons and double collar make this mint condition suit very special! Front pockets actually work as real pockets, and the jacket is fully lined in tan rayon crepe. The nubby fabric is a combination of tan and black thread. The skirt is more pencil, than A-line, and has a metal side zipper, hook fastener, and is lined on the upper back side in tan satin. It has a back kick pleat, and a 3 inch hem. Jacket sleeves can be turned up or not, with knotched cuffs, and sufficient hem.
The close ups show the color best, as my photo room had different light sources which show up as different light temperature colors...but a Veronica Lake blond or black haired gal would knock this suit out of the ball park! Great autumnal weight ....not too light, and not too heavy. Perfect for dinner, the office, Brunch, tea, meetings, Church, etc.
