40s/50s Ladies Lined Wool Peplum Jacket With Mink Collar By Walda Scott Originals
Vintage Walda Scott fur trimmed peplum jacket circa 1940s - 1950s. Dark Brown Mink Fur Collar compliments the 100% Wool Jacket with a shapely fitted waist and peplum hem. Shoulders are very lightly padded. Gatherings at waist seams on front and back allow for a bustier fit with more room up to a 34C Bust. Long sleeves have slits at wrist and can be worn down or folded back (as pictured). The mink collar is in excellent condition with no wear to the fur pelts. There is no size tag present but I estimate this to fit a Small or Ladies Regular Size 8. This jacket must be cleaned using a method safe for genuine fur. There is one button for front closure as shown in the pictures. Button is a bit loose. Fully lined with a crepe fabric I assume is polyester. No holes, rips or tears. This beautiful peplum jacket would be a nice compliment to a pencil skirt or any pant style. It is a very flattering silhouette to many figure types.
