40s 40s French Poplin Evening Bag With Lucite Clasp
Lovely little brown poplin bag with beautiful clear lucite and gold tone clasp. Hardware on frame is stamped "Paris". Maker unfortunately is no longer readable, at least not to me. Dark, rich brown, wider 1.25" strap. Interior is satin with one small mirror slip pocket (no mirror) and one zip pocket. Serval zipper.

CONDITION : Very good for it's age. Has slight rubbing under the joints on frame, can't see unless you spread the fabric. The strap looks like it may have been shortened at some point. There appears to be machine overstitch and fold, I didn't want to remove it in case it leaves a mark, or the strap is connected this way.
