Classic in style, Made in Hong Kong, this vintage Anne Klein ll vest is black wool with rows of small black, gold and silver beaded scroll-like patterns. There are hidden hooks in the front so you can wear it closed or open. Both options are shown in these photos.
A label shows size Medium, however please use these measurements to assure proper fit:
Bust size is 36 inches, when it is snapped closed in front.
Full length is 19 and 1/2 inches.
Hemline width is 36 inches.
The fabric label shows "Anne Klein II, 100% wool, Medium, Made in Hong Kong of imported yarn, Hand Wash in cold water".
As you can see, the design here is a classic loose vest style, with a deep V neckline with deep square armholes and it is fully lined in the same black wool.
Nicely designed, this armhole opening is deep and squared off so you can wear many types of blouses, sweaters or dresses under this vest.
After all these years this vest remains in Very Good Vintage condition.
Freshly cleaned, the neckline and the underarms are clean with no stains, holes, odors or unraveling anywhere. All of the beading is intact. I found one small area where a tiny hole in the fabric had been repaired. Other than that, there is no unusual wear to note.
It comes to you from a home with no pets and no smokers.
