This classic double-sided vintage muffler is solid brown wool on one side with a floral silk pattern on the other side. There is a logo, however I can't read it. A close up photo is included, so perhaps you can make out the designer's name or you recognize the script. It may be an early version of the Lord & Taylor script logo, however I can't say that with absolute assurance.
Made in Japan, it is 52 by 11 inches and is the type of style most generally worn with coats or blazers in the winter weather.
There is a narrow 1/4 inch wide self fringe at each end of the scarf.
It could be worn by either a man or a woman by being wound around the neck (some ways are shown in the photos) or hanging down in front under coat or jacket lapels.
