The bottom is marked "Solimene Vietri Made in Italy" and includes the signature logo of a bird. In their traditional color palette of white pinkish/red and Mediterranean blue the 3 and 1/2 inch wide border is Mediterranean blue with playful white fish drawn with red outlines green triple leaves and pinkish/red polka dot trim. Each side has 1 white fish outline and in each corner there is a triple leaf pattern. Polka dots adorn the slightly scalloped edges.
