With a sweet feminine pink, blue and green pastel floral print on white, this Shadowline pajama set was made for comfort and for style. Front stitched pleats add to the appearance and a short tops it off. These long sleeves have narrow cuffs. Its original paper hang tag remains attached. Made in the USA, this super soft fabric has a flannel like inside and a shiny exterior.

Shadowline was a lingerie company, located in Morganton, North Carolina. It was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The company had the reputation of producing lingerie of very high quality.

This was an original Salesroom sample, meant to be displayed in a Shadowline showroom. That is where department store and boutique lingerie buyers would come to see what was available to order. The salesroom is where they could buy merchandise in bulk for a future season.

This pajama set remains in Pristine Mint Vintage condition, worn only briefly for this photo shoot.
