Made in the USA, this vintage I. C. black skirt is an early design from the company now known as I. C. Collection by Connie K. With an elastic waist, it has multiple overlapping layers and a unique side pocket with a top tie. Original paper hang tags are attached. Those who know the current I. C. styles will recognize the beginnings of several of her trademarks. For example, the fabric is 88% Rayon and 12% Nylon, which is washable. The shape is unique and figure forgiving. A large pocket is part of the design and those are each factors she continued to use in her later garments.
It is labeled Size Large, however I think that in today's sizing it fits more like a Size Medium. Please use these measurements to determine if it will fit you:

On the right side of the skirt there is one large deep pocket, with a top tie that allows you to tie it tight to hold whatever you have in the pocket or leave it loose as a unique design element.
