Magnetic Back Brooch Upcycled From Small Metal Vintage Medallion with Purple Floral Shell and Magnetic Back Bonus Sheer Oblong Scarf
Floral purple and shiny all in one! This small metal vintage 2 inch round brooch has inset crystals in pastel shades. Playing off the purple and pink colors I removed the old rolling c type clasp mounted the piece on a purple floral design shell and then added a new magnetic back clasp. This newly recycled brooch is easy to wear and will stay securely in place without damaging your clothing.
As can be seen in the photos the finished brooch is utterly feminine and quite versatile. In size it is 2 inches in diameter.
As a bonus to the new owner this magnetic-back brooch will arrive with a complimentary sheer oblong stretchy fabric scarf. It has a black background with purple and pink flowers. Both the brooch and the scarf are terrific accessories that can be worn often together or separately.
The magnetic backs are easy to use:
• With your thumb PUSH and SLIDE the top magnet off the bottom magnet. (DO NOT try to pull them apart because they are too strong.) Remember to always SLIDE.
• Position your brooch anywhere convenient on top of your clothing and place the removed magnet beneath your garment and in back of the top magnet. Make sure you have the color-coded portion of the back magnet on the outside of the back. The 2 portions of the magnets will immediately bond together to create a secure attachment.
• When you are ready to remove the brooch remember to use the same technique you used to put it on. Always SLIDE the bottom magnet off.
