Crown Trifari Brooch Silver Tone Metal Leaf On a Stem, Lovely Designer Details, Classic Chic Style From The Sophisticated Early 60s, Vtg
For the era it was made, I am estimating the early 1960's because the metal and the backing are so similar to other Trifari brooches from that same time period.
As can be seen in the photos, even the metal work on the backside is etched with a linear design as is so typical for Trifari mid-century quality. In addition, the woman whose estate I purchased this brooch from had a treasure trove of costume jewelry from the late 1950's and early 1960's, so this brooch is certainly an authentic heirloom brooch.
Of course everyone is on a first name basis with the Trifari name. This particular example is signed Trifari with a crown over the " T " and the copyright logo C at the end, as can be seen in the photos.
In Excellent Vintage Condition, very collectible and very wearable, as you can see in the photos.
The back clasp works well and there are no significant signs of age or wear on either the brooch or the rear portion.
