This brooch and clip back earrings set is a homage to the Art Deco period, even down to the iconic choice of black and clear for the colors. In Excellent Vintage condition, each piece is a geometric shape emphasized by rows of various size rhinestones, each of which is still intact and quite shiny.
I looked for a designer's logo or mark on the back and can't find one, however this set is obviously well made and has much more life in it for you. The pg on the metal is all intact and still bright.
A rolling C back clasp on the brooch is not bent, still functions smoothly and will hold securely.
At the widest point, the brooch is 2 and 1/2 inches long and 1 and 1/2 inches wide.
With a matching shape, but smaller, the earrings are 1 and 1/2 by 1 inch in size.
The clip-style back clasps of the earrings are firm and have comfort pads that I added. These pads easily slip on and off so you can wear the clip back earrings with or without them in place. Over the years I have worn many clip back earrings and find these padded backs make almost any earring even more comfortable. Unlike some pads that must be attached to the clip, these are easily removed and replaced later.
This set replicates one of those classic Art Deco designs and has all of the Hollywood movie glamour that we associate with that time in history. You will be happy to own it, to wear it and to get compliments each time you do.
