Antique 20s Sheer Pale Pink Organdy Gown with Scalloped Collar Embroidered Rosettes and Smocked Dropwaist
Beautiful, ethereal, 1920s dress in a pale pink, extremely sheer, organdy. The dress has a scalloped collar (which isn't super cooperative about laying flat!) adorned with pink and purple embroidered rosettes. The cuffs on the short sleeves match the collar. The dress is cut very straight to the drop waist which is created with a 3" smocked band. The skirt is quite full and it has a scalloped, rosette-covered hem. The dress has no closures but pulls on over the head.
◊ condition: This dress is in really nice shape for its age but it does have some issues. It has very faint underarm yellowing (this is quite hard to see) and very light seam stress at the bust darts. There's an old repair in the skirt and just above this are small cluster of very small holes (all less than 1/8"). There are also a few very small dark-ish marks on the skirt. This dress is a century old so you may find other very, very minor flaws like minor pinholes but I've described the condition to the best of my ability, I want you to be happy with this incredibly dress! It has been carefully and safely cleaned.
