20s/30s 14k White Gold Art Deco Ring Melee Diamonds
Definitely deco! What we love about art deco is the way it keeps surprising us, how in a deceptively simple design there can be so many marvelous elements. This ring does just that. An incised square holds a diamond (about 1.5 mm) in the center; moving down the shoulders, you see three tiny (melee-sized) diamond accents set in diamond shapes, tapering into a narrow shank that's punctuated with a little knob of gold. The top and bottom have lovely curves that remind me a bit of the Chrysler Building. So much design in a small package!
Set in solid 14K gold.
Because it is small, it makes a great midi or pinky ring. If your fingers are 1920s size, also great for promises, engagements, any sort of special gift.
