Made in Indonesia, this ornately beaded batik cotton vest was designed by Ann Tijan for Kenar. A mix of tiny shells, seed beads, bugle beads and tube beads are used in the pattern. As you can see, a bird, stars and floral shapes are featured in this terrific design. Batik style cotton is used for the beaded side and the back and full lining are solid black rayon. This vest was made in the Indonesian tradition, with shells and fabrics.
