So well made this Little Black Dress designed by Leslie Fay is meant to fit and flatter. With 3 tiers of fabric the top one of which has a 2 and 1/2 inch wide lace edge it is knee length with a rounded neckline and 3/4 length sleeves. Made in the USA it is 85% Arnel and 15% Nylon. There is an early 1970's version of the ILGWU Union label.

It is washable and can be tumbled dry. The label recommends Woolite which was a new product at the time. I used Woolite when I washed this and I hung it to dry because I feel that helps vintage garments look their best for an even longer life.
