30s/40s Lovely Flirty Pink Silk And Lace Tap Pants
This is a lovely pair of 30s/40s pale pink tap pants. They are made of silk de chine and fastened on both sides with tiny shell buttons. On the front waistline, there are lovely abstract lace appliques. The shorts are high-waisted and fall to the top of the thighs with the hem being at least 2” of wonderful floral lace. The shorts also have a buttoned crotch.
Condition:
The tap pants are in good condition with only minor flaws to note. There is some slight color fading to the center of the shorts in the front and back where it has gone slightly yellowish. There were also 4 darts 2 in the front and 2 in the back that have been removed to let them out. They are still viable marks from the stitches, the darts could also be redone but would be taken in the shorts to about a 28".
