
30's/40's Carved Celluloid Folk Art Ring
Super cool piece! Vintage 1930’s/1940’s celluloid plastic ring. Many of these are attributed to inmates and folk artists, Bob Dodd being the most well known artist, who fashioned them out of toothbrush handles & found plastic type materials. This ring has a really substantial front piece, great design, and carving.
Size: approx. 6.5 or just over
Face size: .75” x .5”
Condition: a couple of lighter opaque spots, one indent on the back of the band.
