30s 40s Art Deco Ribbed Cotton Hankie with Flowers On a Check Background Yellow Brown Green Orange Mint Condition

EVERYONE knows you don't put flowers on top of a geometric pattern, so someone PLEASE tell me why this was so popular in the 30s and 40s! Crazy! I have never seen it done since then, have you? So here is a perfect example of what I speak of. A mint condition hankie on shear ribbed cotton. Approximately 12" x 12". Perfectly Art Deco! 1940s color schemes....so many browns! I have had the gorgeous hankie in my collection for about 20 years, and as much as I love it, it needs to be passed on, for others to enjoy. Priced on condition and rarity. I hope you can give it a worthy home.
