30s/40s Art Deco/mcm Silver Choker Geometrical Influence by UT
Each link is an inch long (please see the blue mat for measurements), and there are fifteen of them. They look very elegant indeed. Total weight is 58 grams.
As you can see, it is stamped with a maker's mark, but the mark is hard to make out. Some elements of it are similar to the Reveri hallmark, but it isn't that. Maybe it's a UT, maybe a UR? I cannot find it in directories--but I'm going to keep looking. There is no eagle, which means it was probably made before 1948, when the government introduced the eagle stamp for all silver artists.
Condition is vintage very good to excellent. There is a bit of patina; I did not want to clean it off all the way because age is part of the beauty to many people. Only the very slightest signs of wear, if any.
From a nonsmoking, pet-loving home.
