10s/20s Antique Halloween Jester Costume
Looking to stage your own David Lynch moment? THE JESTER is a beautiful antique 1920s Halloween costume in black and orange cotton that can help get you there. This garment is likely over a century old and is in excellent condition for her age--but still has some flaws to note, including a very old stain on the left front of the costume, some missing bells on the back of the collar, one bell that appears to have been stepped on or flattened in some way, a loose seam on the front orange portion, and a small hole on the back of the collar.
Closes with a series of snaps and hooks-and-eyes. This is obviously a handmade garment that shows lots of personality, spots of both hand and machine stitching, etc. Still wearable, but please use caution when wearing antique garments and take careful note of the measurements. This would best fit an XS-S women's or a large child. Despite looking like a top with a peplum and pants, this is a one-piece that must be stepped into.
