This is an AMAZING Circa 70's Yves Saint Laurent Dress. In the 70's Saint Laurent was inspired by traditional Russian Costume. So, he Designed the Haute Peasant Look! And here we have one of his Rive Gauche Designs. It is a Paisley Wool Challis and Trimmed with Ruffles in Silk Taffeta.
It has a Large Caplet Collar that ties in the Center and is Ruffled with a Border of Silk Taffeta in a Wine Color. The Sleeves are Bishop Sleeves and are stunning with Velvet Cuffs that close with three filigree buttons and a border of Silk Taffeta also. The Hem is also Bordered in a Ruffle of Silk Taffeta. The Fabric Design is a Paisley Print so popular in the 1970's. The Colors are lovely in: Red, Purple, Green, Blue, and Black. It also has a Drop Waist so it will Fit a variety of Sizes.
