Victorian Art Nouveau Serving Tray Floral Dish Catch All Unpolished

Victorian Art Nouveau Serving Tray Floral Dish Catch All Unpolished

This beautifully designed Art Nouveau tray from the late 1800's has a mark on the back that reads "Queen City Silver Co. Cinn O. Trademark" , with several crescent shapes that intersect in a circle. A better look at the stamp on the bottom can be seen at this web site: https://shopthrilling. com/collections/fifis-finds/silverplate_Q. html
Queen City Silver Co. was a major corporation in its heyday, and there is a lot of history to be found on the internet.
It measures 11 x 8 inches, and is eight inches tall. There is a slight break in the handle (see photos) at the very top, and I am sure it could be repaired. I have yet to polish this, but the handle is very soft and bendable (hence the break). Whatever it is made of, (Plated pot metal?) its darn pretty! .
