Victorian Antique Gold Acorn Pendant

I absolutely adore this little charm, it's the perfect size, in a rich, buttery gold color, with three-dimensional sculptural details. The acorn has a popular talisman dating to at least the 14th century, and was especially embraced by the Victorians. Acorns are known to be symbols of fertility and immortality. The size of this piece makes it perfect for layering with other necklaces; **the Antique Horseshoe Pendant pictured is also available in my shop**. Circa 19th century, this piece is gold-filled (the absolute closest thing to solid gold, but drastically reduces the price; composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base, usually sterling silver).
