Fantastic mid century silver rim roly poly punch bowl set. This Dorothy Thorpe inspired cocktail set comes with fourteen 4oz roly poly glasses, one large punch bowl, and one ladle. The tumblers have a wide silver band around the tops along with heavy rounded and slightly indented bottoms. The punch bowl has a matching wide silver band across the top. No chips or cracks in the glass and no rusting to ladle.
A few issues to note: The silver is in great condition, but some of the glasses have dark spots on the silver, three are lighter than the rest, and a few have missing spots of silver which is mostly noticeable when held to light. The punch bowl has some marks on the bottom along with some discolored spots. Not sure what caused the discoloration, but it may have been due to improper storage or a factory flaw. These marks are only noticeable if the bowl is placed on a light colored surface. A few small spots of silver are missing to the band of the punch bowl. Please see photos for these flaws. Regardless of these issues, this piece has plenty of life left, and is ready to party!
