Paisley was big in the 60's so that could be when this was made, but paisley has been around for a very long time, so without a tag, it is hard for me to date this scarf. It is not constructed as well as vintage mens Opera scarves....could it be a reproduction? Or is it supposed to be for a woman, and that is why it is finer, and more delicate. Not sure, so I am marking it as inexpensive as I can. Still, I am confident it is silk. It need s clean, but then will be good to go. length: 47" without fringe, width: 8. 75 inches. fringe: 2. 5" long .
