Small red rhinestones fill this vintage floral brooch which is a lovely 1950's example of Vogue jewelry designs. A cluster of four flowers on a swirled branch it is 3-dimensional with a rise of nearly 3/4 of an inch from the base. From 1936 to 1977 Vogue was a costume jewelry company based in New York City. With it 3-dimensional abstract floral design this is a unique brooch that is so wearable and unmistakably chic.
The entire piece features inset tiny red rhinestones which are all intact.
Matte gold-plated metal is used as the background material. As you can see the metal is open weave so whatever fabric you have on under the brooch will show through.
It is a lovely brooch that is 1 and 7/8 inches long by 1 and 1/4 inches wide at the largest points.
The back or pin portion has a rolling "c" clasp that is fully functional. The back pin is straight and has not been bent.
In Very Good Vintage Condition there are some worn off areas on the back side of the piece (see the center photo) and you can tell it has been someone's well-loved and cared-for piece. These very few signs of the age are on the back side and don't detract from either how wearable or collectible this lovely vintage Vogue brooch is.
