These preppy mod sweaters are impossible to find, and I had no hesitation in grabbing this baby, when I saw the vintage LIBERTY HOUSE label from Hawaii! I just looked for a similar sweater on the internet, and saw nothing this classic and "smooth". This is the classic early 60s look that groups like the Kingston Trio or the Lettermen wore. Ones that did have the same "feel" ...like the ones with built in turtlenecks, go high as $108. Think how great this will look with a turtleneck or "dicky"! Pockets are 4. 5" deep.
Sadly, this has a few moth holes in the front. I know they can be fixed by trained professionals. Other than the nibbles ( see close ups), the sweater is in Excellent condition. No wear is evident on sleeves, pockets, collar, cuffs, or elbows ( usually show some stretch). I am inclined to think this was bought, nibbled by a moth, and never worn. If it were in perfect shape, I would ask $225 due to the rarity. In this condition,
