Vintage longline fur coat from Kaufmannâs of Pittsburgh by Saga Fox.
Longline coat with 100% fox fur exterior and satin lining. Closes with hooks in the front. Two pockets. Hits about calf length on average height person.
Minor flaws, I believe could be repaired and is absolutely worth doing so:
- missing top hook (eye is there, only the hook is missing) on the front of the jacket. Should be 3 total hooks, there is only 2. See photo.
- missing one of the inside ties. See photos.
- seam is coming apart along the edge of the lining. This is about a 5â area near the bottom of the wearerâs left. See photo.
- missing size tag, if one was ever present.
Sizing:
As mentioned, there is no size tag. I am approximately 5â8â, and wear an XL/1X. I can wear and fasten the coat, but it is just slightly more snug in the sleeves than I would like it to be. It may even fit better with the top hook repaired.
**Approximate** Measurements (the fur makes measuring difficult, but I will try to be as accurate as possible)
With the coat open and laid flat, 23â from armpit to armpit on the lining.
36â from the armpit seam to the hem, measured on the inside lining
47â total length shoulder to hem
