Full length brilliant gemstone green, this hostess lounging gown is from the early 1970's and was Made by Shadowline. The original paper hang tag remains attached. Versatile in style, this can be worn A-line as it is shown here, or belted for a more fitted look. Sleeves are full length and there are four top buttons and a fold down collar. Hostess gowns like this were quite stylish in the early to mid 1970's. Today this gown is opaque enough that I can envision someone wearing it as a dress.
