Brooch Rose Goldtone Green Stones
Vintage brooch is goldtone with highly detailed long leaf and brushed metal on the rose, which looks like it has a stone in the center but instead has a pinwheel of goldtone petals on edge.
There are stones, two are green and could be Chrysoprase, Peking Glass, faux jade or possibly even real jade, but the pin is not marked and the metal is goldtone or goldplated, not karat gold. the green is muckled with lighter color and almost veins. The bud is held in place with prongs made to look like leaves, openwork and fancy (it may actually be glued down deep). It is 1/2 inch long. The green leaf is triangular, has long prongs holding it in place and is 3/4 inch long on the long side.
The brooch is 2 1/4 inches long with stem, vine and faux pearl bud (also prong set and about 6mm).The rose piece is riveted onto the stem; the pinback is rollover.
