This broken China pendant and necklace were made by using fragments of a plate collection from 1992 by W. L. George, âThe Ruby -throated Hummingbirdâ by Lena Liu. The Pendant Necklace was Handcrafted With a lead-free soft solder method and Copper Patina.
This material is made to stay forever shiny, but can lose some of its sheen over time. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It will not turn your skin green!
Material is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver.
The bracelet (sold separately), was made with a vintage silver and copper braided adjustable cuff. I attached the broken china with copper wire and lead-free solder, then finished and polished with a copper patina for an antique look. (It is also for sale in my closet, may be purchased together)
