In a modified tunic length, with a shorter front and longer back, this black silk Mercedes & Adrienne blouse features colorful floral appliques and embroidery, a tuxedo style collar, cuff-link ready cuffs, long sleeves and front buttons. As you can see, it is a stunning and eye catching floral applique design. From the 1980's, when this designer's garments were high fashion, the fabric label reads "Mercedes & Adrienne TM 100% Silk, Made in Hong Kong, RN 57159, CA 09914".
The label inside identifies this as a size 8, however that is from the 1980's when every garment was worn quite over-sized, so please use the measurements below to assure your perfect fit.
Shoulder to shoulder is 17 and 1/4 inches.
Arm hole opening is 26 inches.
Sleeve length is 22 inches
Under arm length at 18 and 3/4 inches, folded for the cuff links.
Bust is 50 inches.
Full length is 29 and 1/2 inches in the front and 33 inches in the back.
Hemline width is 54 inches.
There are 6 inch slits on each curved bottom side.
All of the buttons are intact. Of course, it can be worn as a classic blouse or with some or all of the buttons unbuttoned over a tee, tank, dress or pants set. This length and looser fit style would also look terrific worn over leggings.
