90s Michael Kors Mink-trimmed Wool Coat (xs-s) By Michael Kors Collection

I am so excited about this 1990s Michael Kors coat— it's truly one of the most well-made pieces of outwear I've ever put on, and it's the ultimate luxury, crafted in Italy of 100% virgin wool, and trimmed with a mink collar. (On a side note, it's so sad to me that the Michael Kors brand has become so synonymous with a certain diluted, dowdy sensibility, because his main label collection has always so incredibly well made, and just the epitome of luxury.) If you look at the tailoring, you can see how well crafted this piece is, but once you put it on, it takes the experience to a whole new level: the expertly-cut princess seams give it a super flattering, nipped-waist shape. The mink collar is removable, and it's honestly fitted enough (and lightweight enough) that it could be worn as a dress with nothing underneath. Closes with two buttons in the front, and features two slit pockets in the front.

Measurements: Marked a vintage size 4, but in my opinion it is small for a 4 and fits more like a size 2. Measurements are taken with the coat fully buttoned.
