90s/00s Vintage Blumarine Virgin Wool Blazer W Velvet Trim By Blumarine
This is actually one of my favorite blazers I've ever tried on— the fit is just perfection! It feels so feminine and sophisticated. It was made in Italy by Blumarine in the early 2000s. The fabric is an incredibly soft virgin wool blend, in a dark charcoal— sometimes I love wearing this shade over true black as it's less harsh/so flattering, and it really shows the details and quality of the piece. It's double-breasted, with a shawl collar and princess seams for a fitted look— since it's fitted, I love the ideal of wearing this on its own with nothing under, but it's also great for layering. The waist flares out to an almost peplum-like shape, where there are pockets on either hip emphasizing the shape. My favorite detail is the velvet and soutache trim.
