This gown has that nubby shantung look silk texture, although there is no content tag it may be a cotton blend because there is a cotton looking backing. The waist is 12.5" so it did not quite zip all the way on my dress form's 26" waist. A great throwback to 90s-does-60s looks. I was looking for more info and found Irit on LinkedIn, and she notes that the Ronnie + Irit studio closed in 2002, so this dress has to date from before that time. In that day it was considered a very high-end brand.
