90s/00s Aubergine Wool Blend Lamb Fur Teddy Coat By Kenzo

This delightful teddy coat from Kenzo Paris is an aubergine (or eggplant, or purple for the purists) wool blend faux curly lamb jacket. The coat has a shawl collar, long sleeves, and hidden on seam pockets. It closes with two columns of large, hidden snaps. Although the coat can be considered vintage, because of its extensive fabric and care labeling, I believe it is from the 1990s, or even perhaps the early "aughts." The fabric is a combintation of wool (50%) acrylic (30%) and polyester (20%), and the lining is a 50/50 acetate and cotton blend. Labeled French size 40, which most closely corresponds to a US size 8, or Medium. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding individual fit.* This coat was measured on the outside, and because of the thickness of the fabric, will be slightly smaller on the inside, but still well within the range for Medium sizes, and perhaps even with an oversized fit.
