80s Handmade Nepalese Tibetan Necklace Crushed Stones
The metal is probably what's called Tibetan silver, which is not in fact silver--it would be an alloy such as copper-tin or copper-nickel. The copper is showing through in the wear on the hook clasp, as pictured.
Copper is good for you! So is turquoise ... This could be a very healing necklace.
For good measurements of various segments, see the photos on the grid mat. Each small square is half an inch. The necklace is about 16.5 inches around--a good choker length. You could extend it with a little length of chain (let me know if you need an extender; I can add one).
I have not polished this piece; the patina is part of the charm for many people.
Condition is very good, with minimal wear showing. One red stone is chipped, as shown; there may be other such spots, but if so, they are hard to find.
From a nonsmoking, pet-loving environment. Thank you for looking!
