80s Glasses Glam Rare 80s Dallas Disco Eyewear
Fantastic and rare GLAM eyewear from the 80's. These frames are called "Golden Floating Facets', because of the four jewel like facets on the edge of each lens. The prescription is very weak, so I am pretty sure these could be used for stage, screen, or TV as is, without disturbing the actor's performance. There is an 18KHG? on one arm and 54/18 on the bridge, so I don't know if they are trying to say that the frames have some real gold in them , or not. The only flaw is that one plastic sleeve end has some bite marks, and these sleeves can be replaced. But for theatrical use, that would not be seen. The thin but sturdy arms have a brown enamel and gold pattern. These are beautifully made Sofia Lauren style glasses, that will add that 80's glam to any photo shoot or event.
