80s Black And Gray Glen Plaid Dropped Waist Wool Dress By Oscar de la Renta

I really like the look of this Oscar de la Renta dress that we just acquired! This vintage 1980s gray and black glen plaid wool dress has a classic 1980s silhouette with its broad shoulders, tapered raglan sleeves, and nipped in waistline. The torso of the dress is designed to appear like it is a separate piece, but it is all one dress with a dropped waist. The black, leather-covered buttons on the front are actually decorative; the dress actually closes with a back zipper. It also has two pockets right below the bottom of the "jacket." The shell fabric looks and feels like 100% wool, and the black lining looks and feels like silk. the photos might make the fabric look like black and white, but it is actually black and gray. Labeled vintage size 10, but sizing charts indicate it is closer to a modern size 6 or 8. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding size.*
