80s/90s 80s Donna Karan Long Sleeve Wool Dress | Xs-m By Donna Karan
This is such an absolutely timeless vintage little black dress, made by Donna Karan in the late 1980s. The quality and craftsmanship are so evident: Karan was known for her draping and this dress is a prime example. The silhouette is a throwback to the 1940s, with shoulder pads and a narrow V-beck. It was made in the US of 100% wool, and features masterful pleating at the bodice, centering on the waist to create a flattering hourglass illusion. What's even better is what's hidden: The interior features an elastic waist to hold the garment in place perfectly, but it's not at all visible. P.S. There are pockets!
