70s Suit 3pc Top Sash Maxi Skirt Gold Black Knit Rare By Rudi Gernreich
True vintage 3pc knit top, sash and skirt set, made by designer Rudi Gernreich, most likely made in the 1970s. Gernreich was known for his knitwear - and designed for Harmon Knits from the late 50s up through the 70s. This set is a great example of his work and can be worn together or separately!
Made from black and gold metallic knit/unlined/dry clean only (note that this set has been dry cleaned recently). Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of use & prior wear: several holes noted on all pieces, some on top layer of the knit, others all the way through, with most hard to see when wearing but evident if closely inspecting (see last 2 images). Still shows beautifully despite its flaws.
