70s Or Newer Vintage Yellow Wool Blanket with R Letter Chatham
The wool symbol on the tag was created ion 1964, so this blanket could be from anytime since then. The ribbon edging feels like nylon or polyester, not satin. But I was attracted to the rather fancy and scroll-ish "R" that is printed on one side of the blanket. The color goes through, but the edge is crisper on one side. This is a medium weight blanket, in excellent condition apart from one VERY small spot, which looks as if it will wash out. I photographed this on a queen sized mattress, but go by measurements. Great for a B&B, or anyone with R in their name. It would be fun to find out if this was from a certain Hotel, or whatever....but I expect that would be an extensive search. Maybe use in your Rolls Royce as a car blanket! hahaha! Enjoy!
