70s 1978 Bjorn Wiinblad 3 Magi Trefoil Plate By Rosenthal Studio Linie

Finding vintage Bjorn Wiinblad designed pieces is always a special moment; his whimsical, swirling designs just make your heart smile!  This is a beautiful decorative wall hanging plate with an debossed quatrefoil shape within the cushion shaped plate itself.  The embossing runs around the raised edges of the plate too.. the pictures just don't do this piece justice!  There are 3 Wise Men, a horse, and an elephant depicted along with jewels, swirls, and tassles, applied in gold, periwinkle, and turquoise done in Wiinblad's iconic style. It is signed, dated, and noted "Weihnacten" (German for Christmas). This is really such a spectacular piece - heavy, intricate in detail, just SO well done!!

~CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition. Excellent condition, period - not even including that it's almost 50 years old!  There are no chips or fleabits on the glass, and the paint is completely intact.  It has been hand washed and dried in preparation for its' next stop in life.

Note: Due to the weight of the piece and the vintage glue for the hanger, it is not recommended that the plate be hung.
