60s Vintage Designer Bill Blass Shirtwaist Dress In Salmon/peach Heavy Silk Fully Lined by Bill Blass
Exceptionally well-tailored 1960s Bill Blass shirtwaist dress in a heavy slubbed silk (this is very sturdy!). The dress has a wide collar, short sleeves, aa fitted bodice, and a nipped waist. The skirt is crisply pleated and the dress button in front to close. The details of this demonstrate how well-made and luxurious it is. It features golden signature buttons, a fully lined bodice, finished seam allowances, self-fabric covered snaps (in the skirt gap below the buttons), and hidden hanger loops. I think the color is probably best described as salmon but it may lean a little more towards orange than pink. It's not true orange, however. Sorry, this is really hard color to capture perfectly in the photos!
