60s Vintage Charcoal Gray Wool Tyrolean Inspired Minimalist Green Trimmed Coat
Simple and sophisticated 1960s Tyrolean-themed coat in a very warm, dense, dark charcoal gray, wool The coat has forest green trim, decorative seaming at the bust, and two slit pockets. It closes with metal button that read Tyrol Anno Domini 1809. It is fully lined in a very pretty green cotton with a floral print.
◊ condition: Great vintage condition. There's a little pilling to the green trim but otherwise the exterior is in excellent shape with no moth damage. The lining is sturdy, intact, and free of stains or fade but it does have two very small holes in the back (see photos).
◊ label: None. The lining looks home sewn, the hem (of the lining was done by hand). It's possible that the entire coat is home sewn, if so, she did a very nice job! It's also possible that the lining was replaced but it's such a good match for the coat that I'm leaning towards it being original.
