No newer than 1963. Early 60s formal gown is silver Matelasse (technically, not Brocade) with white background, for anyone who wants to shimmer on that formal occasion. (A most unusual option for an edgy bride) The high wide cummerbund is trimmed with silver and has a big silver knot & loop button trimmed with rhinestones and pearls and hooks closed IN BACK.
