60s Mod Fur Fedora Military Style Designer Hat by Lilli of California Brigette Italian Brushed Fur Shell
A luxuriously soft brushed fur fedora for the fall or winter, this hat is stylish, warm, beautifully styled and so special! It reminds me of the hats you see British Meter Maids wearing in London. Very Carnaby Street, but designed in California. Maybe Lilli was inspired by all those Beatle and other early 60's films like ALFIE, and A HARD DAYS NIGHT. As you can see by the close up, the Italian shell is brushed fur. The inside crown has a silk screened label in yellow ink that reads "Brigette, Body Made in Italy". The brim is soft and pliable, if you want to reshape it. The inner headband has barely noticeable bit of wear, but that won't be seen when the hat is worn, of course, and these bands are easily replaceable. The side view does not show the slope of the hat too well, but the front of the crown is higher than the back, as in a man's hat shape.
