60s Mod Black Raw Silk Two Piece Suit with Slubs Jackie Kennedy Handmacher Weathervane Classic Lady Like Sophisticated

A very comfortable and lady-like raw silk suit that can be easily accessorized with polka dot or bright colors for a fun event or toned down with black and white for a more somber occasion. This is a gorgeous suit made from the most wonderful slubbed silk fabric. The large black buttons are very MOD, the Oleg-Cassini -style square jacket that screams Jackie O. I wish the photos did it justice! The three-quarter sleeves look so sophisticated with elbow length or short gloves, and a 60's bubble hat or wide brimmed hat is a must! I wore this several times, and it was so comfortable and flattering. Sadly, my skirt wearing days are over, and I only wear men's clothes ( vintage of course!) now. That is my only reason for selling this beautifully tailored Handmacher creation, as it has NO flaws! Pockets are not real. The skirt has a plastic zipper, and has a rear slit for movement. Includes union label. back of fabric is smooth and shiney, so it is automatically "lined". Go by measurements.
